    We did a self-drive tour in South Africa in October 2016 and everything was planned superbly.

    You were so incredibly patient and attended to all our special requests (we changed the route several times). The recommended accommodations were great without exception: great location, very clean, unique, great hosts. We felt right at home.

    We would recommend South Africa-Experience right away. Even if you travel individually in a rental car, it is great to have a contact person to ask all your questions and have an expert designing the route and booking the accommodations. Thank you for this great experience!

    Our 14-day group trip to South Africa in March, our very first small-group tour, was amazing from beginning to end! We started in Cape Town and finished in Port Elizabeth. Everything was extremely well organized, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could simply immerse ourselves in the experience and enjoy South Africa to the fullest.

    Outstanding experience with African Experience – highly recommended We had an excellent experience with African Experience on our 19-day round trip “South Africa Relaxed”. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. Communication was always clear, fast and friendly, and our guide Steve truly made this trip special. He is an amazing guide – knowledgeable, professional, and always attentive to everyone’s needs. The accommodations were fantastic, and we really appreciated that many of them were booked for two nights, which made the journey feel relaxed and well balanced. The overall value for money was outstanding.

    Our two-week round trip from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth from October 22, 2025, to November 6, 2025, was a dream—perfectly organized, varied, and a real highlight thanks to our tour guide Gabriela Biljohn. Gabriela was simply amazing: With her extensive knowledge of the country, its people, and its history, she gave us a very special insight into South Africa.
