Our group tours are limited to 10 participants, whereas most tour operators usually permit up to 22 people per vehicle. Consequently, on our tours, you’ll enjoy extra-wide, lux-recliner seats with seatbelts, armrests, headrests, and ample space.

Our group tour seating arrangement includes nine seats at the rear and one seat beside the driver-guide, providing nine window seats—eight in the back and one next to the guide.
Our lux-recliner seats are not only extra wide, with head and armrests for your comfort, but also provide ample legroom.
The high roof allows for free movement inside, and tall windows offer views of the surrounding landscape and the vast African sky.
You also have ample storage for your day bag on the shelves above, along with a USB port for charging your devices.
Your driver, who is also your guide, will navigate through vast landscapes, always prioritising your safety. Thanks to their local knowledge, you’ll arrive at the right place and at the right time.
Our South African operations team, working in the background, is always on hand to support you if an unlikely problem arises with your vehicle.
After each tour, our vehicles are inspected by qualified Mercedes-Benz mechanics. They also perform regular complete services to keep our Mercedes Sprinters in top condition, ensuring they remain dependable on the road.
Luggage
We kindly ask all guests to bring only one piece of luggage weighing no more than 20 kg, as this is the limit on domestic flights, and the same restriction applies to our tour vehicles.
Soft-shell luggage is favoured for its ease of storage, though hard-shell bags and trolleys are also acceptable given the roomy vehicle boots.
A day pack or soft-shell bag is recommended for hand luggage due to its ease of carrying during activities and convenient storage in vehicles.
Dust is inevitable on a South Africa tour, so please anticipate that the outside of your bag will become dusty.
High-season
Please note that, due to unforeseen circumstances or during peak seasons, SouthAfrica-Experience reserves the right to use rental vehicles that are similar but may not be equipped in the same manner as our specialised vehicles.
