April 2026| Similar tours: South Africa – Experience the South
Our 14-day group trip to South Africa in March, our very first small-group tour, was amazing from beginning to end!
We started in Cape Town and finished in Port Elizabeth. Everything was extremely well organized, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could simply immerse ourselves in the experience and enjoy South Africa to the fullest. The program was diverse and we were able to see all the highlights along the Garden Route.
A big part of this was thanks to Lizl, our tour guide, and Noah, our driver, who accompanied us throughout the entire trip. Lizl took excellent care of us and provided insightful information about every place we visited. She was always attentive to our wishes and there for us with help and advice at all times, even during our shared dinners, and we could always rely on her recommendations.
Noah drove us safely throughout the journey. He also took care of loading and organizing our luggage, and we always felt completely safe with him.
Both Lizl and Noah were always in a great mood and incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, anyone would be lucky to have them as their tour guide and driver! The atmosphere was fantastic, and we shared many great moments together.
Some of our most unforgettable highlights included Cape Town, with Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope, the canoe trip on the Touws River, the safari in Addo Elephant Park, and the wonderful braai evening organized by Lizl and Noah.
The accommodations selected by South Africa Experience were excellent, which was very important to us. The bus was also very comfortable.
Saying goodbye was not easy, as a strong sense of connection developed within the group over the course of the trip. The journey felt very personal, almost like traveling with family.
It certainly won’t be our last small-group trip to Africa!
